Sheikh Harun Hussain Madani

Shaikh Muhammad Harun Hussain was born into a distinguished family of scholars in Sylhet. He took his first steps in learning from his parents: he learned to read the Quran correctly, with the rules of Tajweed, from his father, and learned his first Urdu and Persian from them. He studied up to the Thanawiyyah level at Banshbari Tahiriya Salafiya Madrasa in the company of the renowned scholar and Muhaddith Allama Muhammad Ali (Rahimahullah), where he gained knowledge of the Arabic language and various Islamic disciplines. He later earned the Kamil degree from Government Alia Madrasa and an M.A. with first class from Jahangirnagar University. In particular, he completed a teacher training course conducted by experienced teachers of King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and received a ‘Higher Diploma’ certificate.
